Yes, my pricing is only for my design services. You will need a domain, which is around $12-15/year and you will also need website hosting. Depending on the project you may also need select plugins to run the website. I can help you with all of this and the cost is generally very low.
I mostly build on Wordpress - the top dawg! It is self-hosted, YAY! and it allows for the greatest amount of creative freedom, best functionality, and awesome SEO. There is a reason it hosts the majority of websites on the internet. I occasionally build in Wix Studio as well.
Essentially yes! You are always welcome to pay in full (for those who like those credit card rewards points ;) BUT generally speaking, depending on the package price you'll pay a deposit and then the rest is split into payments. Full payment is required by the end of project completion.
It depends on the project size. With my Mic Drop Website Experience you could have a website up and running in a matter of weeks. The design process itself is just 5 days so depending how quick you finalize onboarding and prep work will determine the timeline for your project. If it's a custom project we can discuss a timeline for you. Let's get started!
I recommend getting with me at least 2 weeks in advance. You'll need enough time to gather content for your new website design. Be sure to get in contact with me sooner than later (especially if you have a tight deadline) so I can make sure to get you onboarded and ready to roll for launch!
Your project hub will be on Trello. It is a very easy to use project management system that keeps us organized and in communication. I'll send you a link to access it and a quick video tutorial on the items in your board. You'll be able to upload everything I need in one place. You won't have to deal with emails all over the place. Let's stay organized!
It is highly recommended to have logos in place before building a website, otherwise we'll need to use standard fonts for your biz name. Which is okay, but not recommended. I offer branding and logo suites, plus I have a mini brand add-on for all websites. Inquire and we can chat!
Yes, I do offer this as an add-on to any website. Either way, you will receive my DIY Website Content Writing Guide that gives you great guidance to write your own copy. If you prefer to have me do it, please choose the add-on listed on your proposal.
